Hi, I’m Danya!
If you’re here, you’re probably looking for a speech therapist who is experienced in working with preteens, teens, and adults – one who uses age-appropriate activities, but still makes the sessions fun! You’ve come to the right place.
After years of working for other private practices, I noticed that there was a real need for speech therapists who cater to these age groups, so I created Purposeful Speech & Language Services.
For over a decade, I’ve been supporting preteens, teens, and adults, both online (in BC and Ontario) and in-person (in Burnaby, BC). Whether it is stuttering, voice issues, social and professional communication needs, reading challenges, post-stroke speech and language difficulties, or accent modification, I like to help my clients to become clear, comfortable, and confident communicators in everyday, real-world situations.
If you’re wondering if speech therapy with me might be the right next step for you or your family member, I’m happy to have a free 15-min “Meet & Greet” session with you on Zoom, so that we can figure out if we’d be a good fit. You can click below to book a call, or email me at danya@purposefulspeech.com with any questions you have.
When I’m not being a speech therapist, I’m busy reading novels, playing guitar and singing, and taking walks in nature.
